Why ?
The purpose of this project was to design an Artificial Intelligence system that helps the user find the perfect outfit for every occasion, quickly and effortlessly. The system operates according to the preferences of its user. Basically it’s a robotic personal stylist at the comfort of your home.
How ?
Aery is installed in your ceiling like a chandelier. So by saving you some space it also decorates your room. With a built in 3d scanner it creates your avatar and a digital file of all your clothes by moving in a vertical axis up and down.
You can create your digital closet on your first use or add a few items at a time. To scan a clothing item perfectly you just need to wear it and ask Aery to scan you. Yes, you can communicate with Aery as simple as if you are talking to a friend. For when you don’t feel like talking though Aery also comes with a remote control.
Every outfit suggestion Aery makes for you is based on your calendar and activities. Considering the nature of the activity, the hour, the weather and your personal style it shows you a number of suggested outfits. You don’t need to try anything on because your online avatar can do that for you.
Your avatar and suggestions as well as a fully functional UI is a part of the system.
We suggest a full size screen- that turns into a mirror when not in use, so you can see every detail at its real scale but you can also view everything in a plethora of devices.
From your laptop to your smartwatch Aery can be your assistant not only in your home but also when your in your office or when your are working out.
By saving you precious time since you are deciding ahead what you will wear in every occasion Aery also can be a trusted friend. How? With an Artificial Intelligence system that learns by the users habits, needs and preferences day by day. Aery asks feedback from the user for every choice it makes and it learns from it!
